When do you decorate your Christmas tree? The weekend after Thanksgiving

What is your favorite Christmas song? What makes it your favorite? “All I Want For Christmas Is You” – nothing beats it and says Christmas like that iconic Mariah Carey song. It just puts you in the best mood!

What is your go-to holiday drink? Lemon drop martini with a sugar rim!

What is your favorite Christmas present that you have ever received? My keyboard — I got it 5 years ago and I’ve played it every day since.

What were your Christmas traditions when you were younger? Christmas Eve at my aunt’s house where we do the “Feast of the Seven Fishes” — but it’s more like sevenTEEN! So delicious.

How have your Christmas celebrations changed since becoming an adult? Now that I’m married, I have two families so we split the holidays between the two sides. It has been fun to see what other families do and get to be a part of it!

How will Christmas be different at your house this year be different this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic? Unfortunately we won’t be getting together with our extended families (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc). It will be very small this year and spent only with our immediate families.

What is your favorite Christmas memory? Waking up each year to the piles of presents under the tree, and seeing Santa came and all the milk and cookies were eaten…it was the most magical thing as a child!

How do you spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day? Relaxing! Unplugged from the world 🙂

How do you spend New Year’s Eve? Usually at a friend’s house for a big NYE party! This year, it will be low-key because of Covid.

How will the pandemic impact your celebrations? Everything will be super small and just immediate family. I will miss seeing friends around the holidays, as well as all of our extended family members on Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. It will look and feel a lot different this year!

What do you typically eat on New Year’s Day? Take out. Usually we are too tired and lazy to cook after a late night out!

Do you have a New Year’s Resolution for 2021? Not yet — I have to work on my list and put some thought into it!
