When do you decorate your Christmas tree? Two weeks before Christmas!

What is your favorite Christmas song? What makes it your favorite? Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas- Judy Garland version. It reminds me of the holidays. I must’ve listened to it a lot as a child which is probably why i enjoy it so much.

What is your go-to holiday drink? Eggnog! or hot cider!

What is your favorite Christmas present that you have ever received? A stuffed animal version of my dog Aurora who recently passed away.

What were your Christmas traditions when you were younger? We would go see the Nutcracker ballet, we also would drive around and see Christmas lights, making Christmas cookies, opening one present the day before Christmas. Also seeing a movie at the movie theatre.

How have your Christmas celebrations changed since becoming an adult? They have not changed at all!

How will Christmas be different at your house this year be different this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic? I have a small family so nothing will have changed really. We don’t travel anywhere on Christmas usually. I’m assuming the movies will be closed this year so that wont be happening.

What is your favorite Christmas memory? I loved waking up before the sun rose on Christmas day and opening up my stocking by the fireplace and eating candy. I was always the first to wake up in the house.

How do you spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day? Lounging around, enjoying my presents and my family. I usually stay home during that week. Maybe I will go to the mall and shop. There are great deals the day after Christmas.

How do you spend New Year’s Eve? Depends on the year. Some years I will go out to a big ball or gala with friends and some years I spend it at home. I am not a huge partier.

How will the pandemic impact your celebrations? Nothing will have changed really. But I will be social distancing and wearing a mask.

What do you typically eat on New Year’s Day? Champagne! kidding, nothing in particular to be honest. Maybe some ham from Christmas dinner if its still good.

Do you have a New Year’s Resolution for 2021? To keep working on being more confident. I tend to care too much about things, situations, or people that don’t matter in the long run. I hope to learn to become better with letting things go and being confident in my decisions.
