What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? Pretty traditional fare, Jump doesn’t do turkey, so that’s a thing.
What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? Definitely the whole, get together with everyone that could possibly come into town at Grandmas.
How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have become an adult? Much smaller, more relaxed. Usually just direct family, some years it’s just good to use as a day where the world slows down!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? That’s a good question, haha.
What are you most thankful for this year? The support and buzz that Virginia Sweet has been experiencing.
Do you prefer artificial Christmas trees or real trees? Real all day.
When do you decorate your Christmas tree? If I have one, when someone tells me to do so.
What is your favorite Christmas song? What makes it your favorite? The Neil Diamond Christmas album, its what I grew up with playing in the background. Turn that guy on, flashback city.
What is your go-to holiday drink? Whiskey and Egg-Nog.
What is your favorite Christmas present that you have ever received? A used transmission for an ’84 Bronco I had when I was 16.
What were your Christmas traditions when you were younger? Going to wake up my grandparents in the morning with a Reindeer that sang “Grandma got Runover by Reindeer” at like 6 am. Then help Mom make cinnamon rolls.
How have your Christmas celebrations changed since becoming an adult? Nothing happens when it’s supposed to haha! Could be early, could be late, or into the next year.
What is your favorite Christmas memory? My parents got me a Foam n Color Barbie for Christmas one year as a gag gift..Let’s just say I wasn’t very cheerful hah!
How do you spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day? Past few years, prepping for shows thankfully.
How do you spend New Year’s Eve? Hopefully playing shows, I love New Year’s shows, lots of energy in the rooms.
What do you typically eat on New Year’s Day? Uh, I honestly never knew people did specific foods for New Year.
Do you have a New Year’s Resolution for 2022? Launch Virginia Sweet into orbit.
