Where and when are you playing during CMA Music Fest? June 4th at Pirhanas in Nashville 2-4pm – June 6th at Pirhanas in Nashville 1-3pm – June 6th at 404 bar and grill in Nashville (songwriters round) 10-11pm – more dates TBD.
When did you start singing? I have been performing on that since I was 2 years old in my grandfathers classic country band. I have been playing music full time since I was 18 under my own name. I am 24 now.
Who are your musical influences? George Strait has to be one of my biggest influences. I also like Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and many others.
What is your favorite concert that you have attended? What made it Memorable? My favorite concert has to be Luke Combs about 3 years ago. I opened up for him that night and got to hang out back stage for a good while before and after the show. He’s an awesome guy.
What is your favorite place to perform? What do you like about it? My favorite place to play acoustic is Captain Andys oceanfront bar and grill in Nags Head, NC. I’ve played there every Sunday for the last 6 years. I am great friends with all the employees there and love to hang out on the beach with my family before my show and go fishing on the pier after with my buddies. It’s always a great family environment there.
Other than artists, who has been influential in your decision to become a singer? My family has always been very supportive. I can’t thank them enough for how much they have stood behind me and support me.
What is the first song you’ve ever wrote? I wrote my first song “comin around” at 15 years old and still play it to this day.
What is your favorite original song? What was the inspiration behind it? My favorite original song is called “stop sign”. I am In the process of having it recorded. The inspiration behind it is finding new love.
