What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? The normal stuff; turkey/ham, dressing, etc.

What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? Just gather for an early afternoon dinner. Afterwards, visit w/ anyone who had come to dinner, or go visit other friends/relatives. This was before all the TV/Media distractions.

How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have became an adult? It’s pretty much the same, just a change in generations. Visit with our daughter/grandson, now.

How will COVID-19 impact your Thanksgiving celebration this year? Keeping it to immediate family; no travel by anyone.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? My Grandson’s first Thanksgiving dinner – high chair & all!

What are you most thankful for this year? Health & survival – mine, and everyone around me. Lucky, so far!

Do you prefer artificial Christmas trees or real trees? Artificial, now. Real trees are too much trouble. I did love going to pick out real trees with my daughter, when she was growing up; there’s nothing like the smell of a fresh Christmas tree.

When do you decorate your Christmas tree? Shortly after the first of Dec, usually.

What is your favorite Christmas song? What makes it your favorite? This year, it’s Kid At Heart – because it’s our new single! 🙂

What is your go-to holiday drink? Egg-Nog, I guess. In the old days, spiked w/ Rum (not any more.)

What is your favorite Christmas present that you have ever received? My wife & daughter surprised me w/ a cool Yamaha keyboard, years ago. I kept/played it for many years.

What were your Christmas traditions when you were younger? Open presents on Christmas morning, have Christmas dinner together.

How have your Christmas celebrations changed since becoming an adult? About the same – open a few presents on Christmas Eve; wait for Santa to come, for our Grandson.

How will Christmas be different at your house this year be different this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic? Just like Thanksgiving – immediate family only – no travel.

What is your favorite Christmas memory? The looks on both my Daughter’s, and Grandson’s faces, when they saw that Santa had really been there!

How do you spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day? Just relaxing; normally we’re just coming off a busy Christmas Tour.

How do you spend New Year’s Eve? Quietly at home, unless we’re playing a New Year’s Concert. Don’t enjoy going out to “party” anymore – did more than my share of that when I was younger!

How will the pandemic impact your celebrations? Not at all – staying home, as usual.

What do you typically eat on New Year’s Day? Leftovers! Don’t have any specific New Year’s Day foods.

Do you have a New Year’s Resolution for 2021? Just be thankful I’ve survived 2020! Appreciate a better 2021; get back to work!
