“Slow Danicing in a Parking Lot,” the third single from Jordan Davis, was the most added song at country radio this week. The romantic song was co-written by Davis and Lonnie Lee Fowler. He is scheduled to perform the song on ABC’s Strahan and Sara tomorrow, April 25.
“‘Slow Dance In A Parking Lot’ is a really special song on my album,” Davis said in a statement. “Getting to relive Lonnie’s first date with his wife in the writing room that day was pretty cool. We’ve been getting a great reaction when we play it during our live show so I’m really excited for fans to hear it on the road this summer.”
The song can be found on Davis’ debut album, Home State, which has recieved almost 500 million streams since it was released last March.
Davis’ first single from the album was “Singles You Up” and “Take It From Me” was his second single. Both songs were co-written by Davis and and both songs became number one songs.
Davis is currently is currently on the road with Old Dominion as a part of the “Make It Sweet” tour. He will play the Stagecoach Festival this Sunday, April 28. Davis will join Rascal Flatts on the “Summer Playlist Tour” starting in June.
