What is your current single and/or album? Christmas in My Hometown (2014); (currently working on first studio album in 6 years).
What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? A typical Thanksgiving includes a turkey, sometimes ham, and numerous side dishes that are prepared from family recipes.
What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? I remember sleeping in on Thanksgiving, helping my parents prepare a meal all day, and finally consuming the said meal at dinner time. Of course football was always on in the background.
How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have became an adult? Our household tends to change venues depending on which relative invites us. The past few years we have opted to keep our celebration exclusively within our own household, rather than spend the date somewhere else.
How will COVID-19 impact your Thanksgiving celebration this year? Because we have been used to exclusivity the past few years, it really won’t impact us a much as some. I do miss the spontaneity of having the option to invite who we would like or change our venue altogether.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? My favorite memory of Thanksgiving – when I was a child our gathering were three generations or more. The ability to have everyone under one roof is almost a novel thought these days.
What are you most thankful for this year? I am most thankful for our nuclear family. We have continuously supported each other.
