Thanksgiving Q&A With Dani-elle Kleha

What is your current single and/or album? “No Foolin’ Me”.

What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? Lots of homemade foods!! We roast a turkey and fry a turkey every year. We have every side dish from the traditional stuffing and mashed potatoes to stuffed mushrooms, sweet potatoes loaded with marshmallows, cranberry/orange sauce to everything else in between!! And of course the dessert table is always loaded with tons of homemade goodies!!

What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? Honestly, all of the traditions from when I was younger still carry over to today. My parents have always made the holidays super magical and it always kicks off around the 2nd week of November right through the New Year. Thanksgiving traditions are watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day while the turkey roasts and we set the table. Lots of laughs and fun throughout the day, searching through Black Friday ads and staying up late that night to shop online and watch Christmas movies!!

How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have became an adult? Just like I said above, nothing at all has changed. Traditions are very important to both myself and my family and one of my favorite parts of the holiday season!! Other than adding a new tradition to the mix here and there, nothing has changed!!

How will COVID-19 impact your Thanksgiving celebration this year? We won’t have the usual houseful of family and friends just for the safety of everyone.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? That is a super tough question for me as each year has something special about it. From surprise guests to fun games and pranks the list is endless.

What are you most thankful for this year? I am so thankful for my family and friends. For the love I am surrounded by every single day. For the health and happiness of both myself and all of my loved ones. And of course, the gift of music and the ability to do what I love.
