The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native developed a love for music at a very young age, a time when music was an absolute necessity for her. She was diagnosed with leukemia when she was three years old. She said that music was one thing they could rely on to cheer her up when she was receiving treatments for leukemia. “My parents even have videos of me singing Hannah Montana on my hospital bed and even though I was young, the beat of the music is what kept me moving,” Moss said.

As she grew, Moss said she understood how music could provide strength during any time of need, just like it did when she was sick. In addition to Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift was another one of Moss’ go-to artists during her tough moments.

Moss started taking voice lessons when she was in middle school. She found inspiration in artists like Jason Isbell and Adelle when she started writing songs. “It wasn’t until I stepped on a stage for my first show my junior year of high school that I realized that a career in music is something that I was passionate about and interested in diving into,” she said. “I remember getting on the stage for my hour set and once the time was up, I wasn’t ready to get off.”

If the title of her new album, Meet Me On Broadway, feels like a bit of an invitation, there is a good reason for that. “Meet Me on Broadway is an album full of many different feelings, stories, and emotions. Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee is a place that has so many amazing feelings associated with it, so what better place to tell stories around then there,” Moss said.

The focus track of the album is “Love Me Not,” a song Moss wrote that was deeply inspired by a personal experience, adding that she feels an intense connection to it every time she sings it. “That connection influences how I deliver the song and how it resonates with the audience,” she said.

“”Love Me Not” is inspired by a real-life personal situation where I felt I was stuck in an unhealthy relationship simply because I didn’t have the guts to leave on my own,” Moss continued. She explained that she would beg and pray that they would leave first, so she wouldn’t have to end the relationship herself.

Moss said she hopes the album leaves listeners feeling empowered. “While my songs explore a range of topics and emotions, the goal is always to uplift the listener, no matter what they’re going through,” she said. “Whether they’re facing challenges or enjoying a moment of bliss, I want my album to give them the confidence to overcome or fully embrace where they are in life.”

Moss’ star is continuing to rise. She has over 42,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. “Love Me Not” was included on Spotify’s highly popular All New Country playlist. She will perform her first ticketed headlining show in Philadelphia in January.
