What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls, and lots of desserts!
What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? We always spent Thanksgiving at my grandparents. We would (and still do) get there early to help start cooking while we watched the Thanksgiving Day parade & then everyone would come over around lunch time to eat & then take naps or play football.
How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have became an adult? As me & my cousins have grown older & gotten married, not everyone is able to gather all at the same time, but we still do our best to visit family. Me & my husband now also do Thanksgiving dinner with his family too, which is so fun!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? Just the years & years of memories around the table with my aunts, uncles & cousins laughing & eating. And then playing basketball or football in the backyard after.
What are you most thankful for this year? My family and our health and time to slow down to be with them.
