Do you prefer artificial Christmas trees or real trees? It’s gotta be real.
When do you decorate your Christmas tree? Well since I’ve been divorced usually 2 weeks before but one year it was the day before.
What is your favorite Christmas song? What makes it your favorite? Greensleeves. From a Skynerd family Christmas. It has a hauntingly beautiful melody. I play it on the harmonica every year.
What is your go-to holiday drink? Every Christmas I usually crack a fifth of Makers Mark and pretty much finish it off.
What is your favorite Christmas present that you have ever received? When I was 1 my grandmother bought me a teddy bear. I still have it.
What were your Christmas traditions when you were younger? Together with the entire family on Christmas eve and up early early to see what Santa may or may not have brung.
How have your Christmas celebrations changed since becoming an adult? It was always a big deal when my kids were young, they’re grown now so its lost its luster a bit.
How will Christmas be different at your house this year be different this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic? It won’t. I refuse to let it interfere.
What is your favorite Christmas memory? When my oldest was first big enough to get into it. He was about 16 months.
How do you spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day? Working and reflecting on my life.
How do you spend New Year’s Eve? Usually playing music.

What do you typically eat on New Year’s Day? Usually a ham with all the fixins.
