What is your current single and/or album? Our current single is “Broke Bridesmaid”.

What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? Turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, ham, rolls, green bean casserole, mac and cheese casserole, dressing, sausage balls, chocolate meringue pie, pecan pie.

What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? We always have our Thanksgivings at the home we grew up in on a golf course in Cleveland, MS with our aunts and uncles, grandmothers, and cousins. Our feast usually always begins around 2 o’clock pm, leaving plenty of time in the morning for our family to get in our traditional round of golf beforehand. After the meal, we sit around drinking and snacking on leftovers while playing card games and sharing stories!

How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have became an adult? Not really, thankfully. Of course, my sister and I have added our husbands to the mix, but their families are always gracious enough to plan their Thanksgivings around ours, so that we’re able to join them as well.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? Mine would have to be the time my normally quiet and poise aunt surprisingly decided to play the crazy and excitable game of “spoons” with us for the first time, and ended up winning the whole thing. It was just hilarious how this game changed her whole personality in the span of just a few minutes. We all couldn’t stop laughing.

What are you most thankful for this year? This year I’m most thankful for the opportunity to still be able to play and sing with my sister, and have the amazing team that we have helping us along the way. We lucked out with some of the sweetest and most amazing people in this industry, that’s for sure! I am also thankful for my family’s health. It’s a real blessing.

Do you prefer artificial Christmas trees or real trees? Back at home we always had a real Christmas tree that our mom would put up and let us help decorate, and I LOVED it. However, now that I am grown and have my own place where my mom isn’t putting the trees up for me anymore, I find that artificial trees are way less of a hassle haha!

When do you decorate your Christmas tree? Usually around the first weekend of November!

What is your favorite Christmas song?  What makes it your favorite? “Christmas Time” by Bryan Adams because I am such a fan of his and Holiday rock is my jam!

What is your go-to holiday drink? Peppermint espresso martini!

What is your favorite Christmas present that you have ever received? My DW drum kit I got from my parents a couple of years ago.

What were your Christmas traditions when you were younger? Our parents are absolute ROCKSTARS for making our Christmases so special growing up. They always brought the Santa magic on Christmas Eve, but putting all the presents that were from Santa unwrapped and front and center in front of our tree so that when we woke up on Christmas day, we would see those first and truly be in awe. We would then play with all of our toys and slowly start to open the wrapped presents while mom and dad would watch and make our Christmas meal, which always started with a breakfast casserole for the morning and then steak and turkey dinner for later on.

How have your Christmas celebrations changed since becoming an adult? They are practically still the same except for opening presents from Santa haha! We have also added more family members and friends to include in our Christmases, and will normally partake in card games, and this fun, new tradition we made up called “Twelve cocktails of Christmas” where we each make a fun cocktail for every person at the house until we’ve all drunk twelve different cocktails each.

What is your favorite Christmas memory? That’s a hard question to answer haha! I think my favorite would have to be this one really special time we took a family vacation to NYC and got to visit the famous F.A.O. Schwarz store a few months before Christmas. We saw all of these super huge stuffed animals (like, life-sized horses, dogs, and sheep), and said to our parents, “if Santa is really real, we’re going to ask for the horse and see if he can get it down our chimney”. (This was when we were too small to realize that shipping was a thing haha) Sure enough, mom and dad were real troopers, because that Christmas morning we came downstairs to see not just the life-sized toy horse standing there (for Nata), but also a big sheep (for me), and a big dog (for our little sister). We couldn’t believe our eyes, it was the most magical thing we had ever experienced at the time.

How do you spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day? I normally travel back to Nashville after Christmas to spend some time at home relaxing and preparing for the new year!

How do you spend New Year’s Eve? Sometimes our parents will throw these really big, fun NYE parties at their house that we like to travel back down to Cleveland for to attend and help host, and other times we come back to our hometown to play a NYE show at one of our favorite local venues that always packs out and is super fun!

What do you typically eat on New Year’s Day? Black-eyed pea soup with homemade mexican corn bread!

Do you have a New Year’s Resolution for 2025? To exercise more/run more, and to practice reading more rather than scrolling social media.
