CMA Fest: Black River Entertainment To Offer A Minute In The Spotlight

Black River Entertainment will offer a unique opportunity to people at CMA Music Fest this year. Aspiring artists will be able to sign up for the 60 Second Spotlight. It will give them the chance to perform in front of an audience including music industry professionals. The performers will only have a minute to catch the attention of those watching.

Those that may be watching include Black River Entertainment’s President & CEO Gordon Kerr, Executive Vice President Rick Froio and Vice President of A&R Doug Johnson. They are looking forward to seeing some of the country’s brightest new talent. The 60 Second Spotlight does not offer immediate feedback or judging.

Performers will not be permitted to bring instruments into Music City Center, but there will be Fender guitars and a Nord keyboard for artists to use during their performance.

There will be limited performance spots available. Those interested in performing can sign up online starting on May 31 at www.60secondspotlight.com or in person between June 6 and June 8 at the Black River Entertainment booth in XFINITY Fan Fair X (booth 170). People must at 18 or over to participate in 60 Second Spotlight.

Black River Entertainment has country, Christian and Americana artists on their roster. Black River Records has country artists such as Abby Anderson and Kelsea Ballerini. Black River Christian has Hannah Kerr and Josh Wilson. Black River Americana has Carolina Story.
