Although she didn’t win American Idol last year, I think she did a wonderful job and gained a lot of fans. When her first single “I Hope” was released, I thought it was a great song. I was happy to see that she was going to be performing at CMA Music Fest.
Barrett performed at the Maui Jim Broadway stage on Thursday, June 6 and on the Radio Disney Country stage on Sunday, June 9. I had the opportunity to see her perform at the Radio Disney Country stage. She did a great performance including “I Hope,” a cover of Maren Morris’ hit “My Church,” and some new songs. I think she had a bright future and I am looking forward to her debut album.
