For the third year in a row, Miranda Lambert will lead the MuttNation MuttMarch, which is presented by Tractor Supply Company. The MuttNation MuttMarch will be held between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on June 6 and will begin at Nissan Stadium.
Lambert said in a statement that she hopes for 1,000 or more people to join in this year’s event in support of shelter pet adoption. People are encouraged to bring their pets along, but people are welcome to participate without a pet as well. From Nissan Stadium, the MuttNation MuttMarch will cross the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and into Music City’s Walk of Fame Park. Storme Warren will be waiting there to do an interview with Lambert in a live broadcast on SiriusXM The Highway. There will also be activities and refreshments available for both people and dogs to enjoy.
“Country music lovers and dog lovers, they go hand-in-hand,” Lambert said in a statement, “and CMA Fest provides the perfect setting to make that special connection.”
MuttNation will also hold a adoption event again this year at CMA Fest. The adoption event, which is also presented by Tractor Supply Company, will be held between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the Thursday (June 6) through Sunday (June 9) on the floor of the Xfinity Fan Fair X in the Music City Center during CMA Fest. Bev Lambert, Miranda’s mom and co-founder of MuttNation, will be on-site to take pictures with every family who adopts a dog during the adoption event. Last year, 55 shelter dogs were adopted during CMA Fest.
I love that Miranda Lambert does these events. She is the dog mom of eight rescues, so I know that shelter pet adoption is something which is very close to her heart. I love that she is using her celebrity status to make a difference by helping connect dogs with their forever families.
