Where and when are you playing during CMA Music Fest?
I am playing a show on the Spotlight Stage on June 7.

When did you start singing?
6 years old.

Who are your musical influences?
Etta James, Shania Twain, Kacey Musgraves, Carol King, John Mayer.

What is your favorite concert you have attended? What made it memorable?
My favourite concert I’ve attended is when I saw Tom Petty live at Ottawa Bluesfest! It was a magical night and he unfortunately died shortly after. Once in a lifetime moment!

What is your favorite place to perform? What do you like about it?
That is hard to choose because any opportunity to play is a special one! The commodore ballroom in my hometown was always a bucket list one that I got to check off earlier this year.

Other than artists, who has been influential in your decision to become a singer?
My parents, my dad was a musician as well and my mother was always incredibly supportive of my dreams.

What was the first song you ever wrote?
It was a song about my hamster who died, it was called “Gus”.

What is your favorite original song? What was the inspiration behind it?
So hard because I love all my song babies but my song War Paint is incredibly special to me. It’s written about mental health and has allowed me to create a supportive community within my fan base!

Where can people listen to your music before CMA Music Fest?

Pretty much anywhere music is found! ITunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube etc!
