Nate DiRuzza recently released his new single called “I And You” and the song has already become his most popular song on Spotify with more than 83,000 plays. He describes the song as a romantic song. He said it is a country/soft rock crossover. “I wish I didn’t have to pick a genre to call it,” he said.
DiRuzza said he grew up with music in the house. His mom was a piano player and he said he wanted to learn piano when he was really young. When he was in high school, he wanted to learn guitar and a friend let him borrow an electric guitar when he was 15 or 16 years old.
“Stairway To Heaven” was one of the first songs DiRuzza learned how to play. He said he got a book of Eagles songs. He played the Eagles and other classic rock songs. He said he discovered the Dave Matthews Band in college. He said he started writing songs in high school.
DiRuzza said he works at a bar . “I feel like right now I need to make as much money as possible so I can invest it in this album,” he said, adding that he is paying for album himself.
