The first time I saw singer/songwriter was part of a round at The Listening Room in Nashville, Tennessee. I loved her voice and her songs. When I saw that she was hosting a virtual Christmas show today, I knew that I wanted to watch it.
Collins has a great personality and she knows how to treat her fans. Before starting the show, Collins joined the chat and said that it warmed her heart to see everyone being friendly in the chat. She came back in between performances while she played videos of her doing Christmas songs to interact with people in chat. One of the great things about this show was it felt like a group of friends sitting in her living room.
She started the show with “Let It Snow.” one of many traditional of songs she performed during the show. Collins said she would be singing that she would be singing a lot of songs in church in the next few weeks. One of the religious songs she performed was “O Come All Ye Faithful”.
Collins performed an original Christmas song about wanting to go home for Christmas. Before the song, she said that it was looking good that she would be able to go home this year. It was such a well-written, emotional song that is very relatable, especially this year.
Collins will be livestreaming three more Christmas shows on Dec. 9, Dec. 16 and Dec. 23. People can what they can for a ticket. People interested can buy tickets for next week’s show here.
