What is your current single and/or album? My current single is “Pink Whitney” but I am about to be dropping a Christmas single at the end of November!!! It’s my rendition of the classic Christmas song, “O Holy Night”.
What was a typical Thanksgiving meal look like for your family? All of us gathering around the table, eating all of the fixin’s: turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, devilled eggs, stuffing, you name it! I love spending quality time with my family and us talking about everything and anything together. Family is and always will be important to me!
What were your Thanksgiving traditions when you were younger? We would always go to my mawmaw’s house and spend time together. My mom and her would cook for hours and we would all basically starve until dinner haha. It’s a southern tradition to not have any food on Thanksgiving until THE delicious feast. Go big or go home!
How has your Thanksgiving celebration changed since you have became an adult? Probably cherishing one another more. You never know how much time you have with your relatives until the good Lord calls them home. I appreciate the time I get to spend with my family.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day memory? One time when I was about 7 or so, my mawmaw and pawpaw had just finished cooking the turkey. They went to carry it from the stove to the table, and because it was so hot, it tore off the skewers! It landed on my dog, Tyler’s, head and he started to eat it all! In that moment, I was mortified thinking Thanksgiving was ruined, but looking back now it definitely made for a funny story haha.
What are you most thankful for this year? For all of the opportunities the Lord has given me. I would be no where without him!
