CMA Fest: Randy Travis To Appear Daily At CMA Fest

Randy Travis has released a memoir, which was written with Ken Abraham. “Forever and Ever, Amen: A Memoir Of Music, Faith And Braving The Storms Of Life” is said to recount his life as a troubled youth and his more than 40 years in the music business. A focal point of the book is Travis’ faith and how it had helped him throughout his life.

Travis begins his book tour on Saturday when he is scheduled to appear at the Barnes and Noble store in Dallas, Texas. Travis will have a booth at this year’s CMA Music Fest to sell copies of the book. There will be daily photo opportunities on June 6 through June 9. In addition, Travis will appear at the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Nashville on Saturday, June 8. The times of the appearances during CMA Fest are still to be determined.

Travis and his wife, Mary, appeared on Monday’s episode of TODAY. “‘Even in his state, his semi-coma state, he squeezed my hand,’ she told Jenna Bush Hager in an interview on TODAY Monday. ‘And he laid there, and this tear just fell. And I went back to the doctors and I said, ‘We’re fighting this.’”

  1. Hi! So looking forward to having Randy sign my book at CMA fest. When will his schedule be announced?
    Thanks!

    1. It has already been announced. He won’t be signing. He had a near-fatal stroke in 2013. He will be available for photos June 6-June 9.
