When did you start singing? I actually played drums before I decided I wanted to sing and that was at around 13,14 years old. My brother and I started playing albums and learning songs.

How would you describe my music? I have to say intense, would be a good word I’ve always high strung compared to my brother. My mother used to say “I should have been the boy and my brother should have been the girl he’s a little more reserved…lol

Who are your musical influences? Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Queen, led Zeppelin, David Bowie, the Eagles, Heart gosh I had so many I could keep going for hours..

What is your favorite concert you’ve attended? Boy that’s really hard one. I would have to say probably Queen.

What made that concert memorable? Back then when they came out they were absolutely abnormally cool, are uniquely talented.

What is your favorite place to perform? Well I’ve been singing for a while and have been in a lot of different places but I would have to say for me it was Fieldstock. What did you like about it-  Being able to play for friends that you haven’t seen in years I would have to say was the funnest time I’ve had in awhile.

Other than other artists, who has been influential in your decision to become a singer? My brother Richard Keeton the guitar player of Drive. Him and I are so close in age we did everything together and he inspired me alot As a matter of fact he is the one that said you can do that try it. an once I tried it and realized he was right I ran with it ..LOL

What was the first song you wrote? A song called “Something about you”

What was your favorite original song? “Something about you”  was wrote about a person in my life I had feelings for and they never knew it.. This person actually is still in my life and just recently I told them the song I wrote was about them.. 30 years later ..LOL that being said of course my feelings are a little different today.. Time changes things. But I’ll always have some kind of feelings there I’m sure.

Where can people hear your music? I usually sing in the tri-state area you can go on my profile on Facebook and catch a glimpse of a few videos and upcoming venues.
